Dear Friends and Family,
We are excited to share the latest updates from our programs in Chihuahua, Mexico, and Floridablanca, Colombia. This season has been filled with celebrations and evaluations, highlighting the incredible progress and achievements of our students and mentors. We hope these stories of growth and success inspire and encourage you, just as they have inspired us.
Capoeira Event In Chihuahua
Gabriel continues to inspire orphaned youth at Casa Hogar Adonai with his Capoeira classes. This month, Gabriel and 11 students will attend a traditional Capoeira initiation ceremony in Chihuahua. Mentor a Mentor is proud to sponsor their participation by providing special event shirts and transportation. These events are crucial as they motivate students, boost their confidence, and set goals.

Thai Boxing in Floridablanca
In May, Mentor a Mentor partnered with Fundacion Niños de Paz and Colombia Academy to organize a Thai Boxing evaluation. Master Sergio Daza, a Brown rank in Thai Boxing, assessed the students' progress and offered positive feedback. Isaias, founder of Fundación Niños de Paz, attended the evaluation and concluded with a prayer for the coaches and students. This assessment not only acknowledged their hard work but also emphasized the importance of discipline and dedication.

Robotics Showcase
Mentor Carlos has been diligently guiding students in the robotics program. Over the past six weeks, students designed and built robotic insects. Their efforts culminated in a presentation at the neighborhood park, where they showcased their robots to family and friends. This event, organized with our partner organization, Fundación Niños de Paz, allowed students to proudly display their projects and share their experience and knowledge.

Founders' Visit and Special Projects
In March, founders Javier and Rebecca visited Casa Hogar Adonai in Chihuahua. They spent valuable time with Gabriel and the orphanage founders, Luis and Cecilia, experiencing firsthand the profound impact of Gabriel's consistent and compassionate presence with students through the Capoeira program. Additionally, Mentor a Mentor initiated a video project to share our story, hiring professional videographers in both Mexico and Colombia. We aim to unveil this video by Giving Tuesday in November.
